Monitoring projects in Australia: towards a national strategic plan

How to take this survey: short instructions

The survey is structured in different sections. We will ask some screening questions to direct you to a version of the survey that fits your project design best, to minimise the time you have to spend.

We will ask 45 short questions about:

1) General project information such as: your contact information, project duration, design of the project, location of the monitoring sites

2) Specific information pertaining to:

  • methods (equipment, sampling design, staff expertise and effort)
  • species and estimates on detection success
  • Please use google chrome or firefox, there might be issues when using the internet explorer.

    You can save your entries and resume later if you want (save and resume button on bottom of each page).

    Privacy / confidentiality

    We will ask detailed questions about species, sampling design & methods, analytical approach (purpose of project), and location. We won't ask for your collected data itself.

    Any personal information collected, such as names and emails is only for us to be able to contact you to clarify anything you have entered. Your privacy will be respected and your personal information will not be used for any other purpose, it will not be passed on to others, and it will be kept in a secure location. All other information you give us, is only used internally for the development of our framework. We will ask you at the end of the survey if you have any interest to publish your information through EHP or other websites, an option that we could provide through various channels if you are interested to make information about your project more publicly available.
